Frame help please

Hi all,
does anybody know if the r1150gs main frame (the bit with frame number
stamped on it ) will fit the r1100gs, i need to get a helicoil fitted to mine
and can get me hands on a r1150gs main frame in the morning to keep me on
the road. Ive had a look at it and it seem very close.

ive just checked the parts number on

and they seem to be the same

If the part number is the same then they ARE the same.

They are the same. In fact all the R series front frames are the same except the early RS .
