Front Brake Cable Recall

Anyone had a front brake cable recall on 08 GS yet?
Not sure on the details yet they said it was to do with the lining???

I thought 1200's had the latest rod operated SLS affairs?

Either way there has been a recall on part of the front brake.

Yes I've had the brake cable recall and also BMW are changing the wooden pine backe'd leather brake shoes with a slightly stronger oak backed shoe. The've found during the pine backed brake shoes are prone to rotting in the winter.
