Anyone out there with thoughts on a cure for this noisy problem?
Feels and sounds like the whole damn bikes gonna fall apart.
The only cure I've found is to remove the pads ,apply copper grease to rear and re insert.Works admirably for about 1,000 miles(depending on how often I wash the bike)then back to rattling.Only good point being you cant hear the gearchange!.
Haynes Manual mentions pad retaining springs but never seen them on/in the caliper or with any new sets of pads.
Lost by previous owner? What do they look like?Where can I get them and are they of any use anyway?
