Front Brake Ticking?

Ok so......

When moving my bike in a forward type direction with the engine NOT running I get a tick tick tick when pulling on the front brake lever...

So..
Then started bike and same problem..

Seems to be coming from underneath the rhs frame cover which is below the tank..

The only thought I had was possibly abs???
Didn't happen on my previous GSA of same age.

My 2008 does the same thing.

It stops fine.

Why worry, unless it doesn't stop you ??

if it does it when the engine is not going i bet it is the discs taking up slight play in the bobbins.try holding the discs andfront to back and see if it makes the same noise.

It's not the servo is it? I would descibe the servo noise as more of a 'whir'. Does it only do it with the ignition 'on'?

Hmm not sure on that one...I'll try it and report back..thanks for the heads up on possible servo and/or play in bobbins

My R1200R does it too.
(So it can't be the servo...)

My '08 GSA has always done it - no servo's.
