marker came off my fuel line when i disconnected the tank & now i'm not entirely sure of which one goes where.

manual is not at all clear. does it matter? many systems just recirculate the fuel & connection is irrelevant.

help.......

does this look right?

With the Q/D connectors you can only fit them the right way ?, they're fitted as opposites. well mine are

That looks about right

Those QDs are both the same way round. Turn one of them upside down to save any future problems.

i fitted the QD's thinking they would not be interchangeable due to their position in fuel lines and so did not bother with reversal.

i was wrong, they are completely interchangable
they are an utter sod to get out of the lines so i will put markers on them.

one that won't fall off :D

but we're all agreed they are the right way round???

Indeed one should fit them the oposite way round to avoid this - the early type of QD's you could not do this with due to valving but new generation work both ways. I personally would try and change one around (bit of warmth on the hose should help ... no open flame!), otherwise just a dab of paint on each clamp.

All three of mine (Adv) are the opposite way round
:D

ok, i did it properly in the end & reversed one. i was afraid i'd snap one. tenacious little buggers, they hang on like terriers.

all running fine now :)
