fuel problem

Hi Guys, Having a problem with what seems to be dirty fuel on 1150gs. Having filled the bike in a station known for poor quality petrol(but forgot at the time!) my bike refused to start about 50 odd miles after. Cleaned some gunk out of tank and checked injectors etc. Bike now will only start on quarter throttle and will not idle or stay running.
Does anyone know if this is caused by a blocked fuel filter???? This is most annoying, as any jap bike ive owned has never given so much trouble.Any Help appreciated Guys and thanks for help in d past!!

TPS, Throttle Position Sensor, on outside of left side Throttle Body gives those symptons.
