fuel pump help

I will get at it over the weekend ,thanks again :beerjug:

If you do go for the crimp, then after you have unravelled all the tape, then you will expose most of the cord ends of all the wire bundles. Each of the cord ends has a plastic protection cap over the crimp. The cap is glued on, try removing it so you can refit it. Once removed you will be left with whats in the picture only in your case the wire colour will be green with a white tracer. There should be 6 wires 1 x 1.5mm (fuel relay) 4 x 0.75mm (injectors x2, lambda probe and timing valve) and 1 x 1mm (fuel Pump).

If you do find the break is at the crimp, then you can solder on to the crimp, but it needs alot of heat. I usually cut off the crimp, twist all the wires together and solder, or if you can get the cord end crimps then use on of those.
