garmin 2610 help needed

HI chaps,anyone know how to put in a destination using northings and eastings.
say for arguments sake a campsite not on the map, or in unchartered territory like africa or somewhere.
with other makes you can do this.and you can swap coordinates.

Just create a new waypoint wherever you are, and then edit the co-ordinates.

I think you go into edit in mapsource,open the new waypoint option and put the co-ordinates in the position box ..............I think

best to try it i guess............................................
