Garmin 2610 screen frozen

As the title, screen frozen on my 2610.

Any ideas how to fix or is or time
to bin it?

Pulled the card cleaned owt I could see on card and terminals spit on it and stuffed it pack in

Go into 'Display Options'

Hit menu button and turn off remote control feature

Hey Johnny - how can you go into "Display Controls" if your screen is frozen? Is that possible? Not trying to be cheeky...

There will be some sort of master reset, then you can re-load the software.
It doesnt take too much to corrupt a file somewhere, and that will freeze a screen.

Google 'Garmin 2610 hard reset' and I'm sure you'll find it somewhere

Don't bin it.....If you get that fed up with it, post it to me (I'll pay postage) and I'll take it apart and abuse it....if I can get it working again I'll whack it on here with money going to HFH

Aidan fixed his by dismantling it and cleaning the back of the screen.
