garmin 276c??

anyone got or used the garmin 276c? is it any good?
i have a quest and dont know if the bigger screen would be better for me. please help

I have the 276c for a week now and I am happy with it.

I haven't got any expirience with the quest but the reason I went for the 276c is that has a lot more waypoints (3000) and has priximity alarms (100) so I get an early warning for the speed cameras around my area.

You need to see them side by side to draw any conclusions.

for proximity Alarms , have you an "audible" message thru the speaker or only an internal beep ?

Although the unit came with a cigarette plug adaptor with a speaker I have used it without it so far. I will connect it up and let you know.

there is only beeping for the proximity alarms. maybe a future update will add voice.

in the settings you can make the proximity alarms "persistance" which means while you are within the defined circle the beeping continues until you leave the circle.
