Garmin 550

Help!!


Off to Ukraine in a week or so's time and just paid the 50 odd quid to update the maps on my 550 Zumo. The thing won't even boot up now when I press the on button. Any ideas ??

Does it work when connected by USB to your computer? Or when hooked up on the car mount? Have you tried removing the battery & refitting it?

Anything on Zumo Forums???

No mate.

Was fine. Took two hrs or so to load updates. Now totally dead. Even computer won't recognise it when I connect up with USB Cable. Don't know what I have done. Took battery out and replaced but makes no difference

Sorry I can't be more help. Short of giving Garmin a call tomorrow all I can suggest is searching on Zumo Forums. What they don't know about Zumo's isn't worth knowing, so if it's a known issue they should have a fix, or way forward for you.
