Do any of you Garmin i3 users know whether it is possible to transfer a route constructed in Mapsource to the i3?

Not as far as I know, I've not found a way yet.
I'm afraid that you can't do it you can only really transfer waypoints via mapsource.
And of course you've got poi's and speed cameras.

Another question for the i3 experts out there ?
I was thinking of getting one of these for my wife/daughter to use in the car.
Limitations seem to be ...
* Cannot transfer a route from Mapsource
* Only ONE via point in the current route
How many waypoints can you store ?
How many areas can you set to avoid ? (there are some 'bugs' in mapsource that direct you down roads near me which are blocked off and it is a real nuisance as these are always on the shortest/fastest route predicted !!)
Seems to me like the i3 is really only suitable for finding an address, and is way below what you would expect on a Quest for example.
... but it is cheap !
