Garmin map transfer

Got a problem with my main comp that requires a back to factory reboot. Not a big deal as have all the files/pictures/docs saved and have discs for all other add on programs. Problem is with my Garmin maps both Basecamp and Mapsource. have some early discs but all updates are down loads. Contacted garmin and basicly if out of download window then I will have to buy new down loads!

Is there a way of transferring the programs to a memory stick, have some with plenty of space or another computer. Anyone done it?

JavaWa GMTK might be what you need, never used it myself but seems be just what you need.

Thanks IainMac. Will have a look for future ref. But have been back on to Garmin today, different guy different answer. If I ring them when I need to download the maps etc they will open a 5day window to allow for me to re download them.
Got a ref number just in case a problem when I call back
Very helpful chap said best to do as much as possible to get maps/drivers loaded before calling so if their is a problem they can sort it all at once.
