Can anybody out there tell me if it is possible to raise the position of the gear lever arm. I am finding it difficult to bend my foot down far enough to allow the lever to drop back down and also to remove my foot from underneath.
I've just had to do that on my 1100GS to match it to the lowered Touratech footrests. Disconnect the circular clip, pull the lever off the rod and it was adjustable with a couple of ten mil spanners...
I'm in the middle of ajusting the gear lever on my 1150 Adventure, it's got a lowered Wunderlich lever on it from the previous owner and i'm putting it back to standard hight. the thing is i've ended up having to buy an ajustable lever from Touratech to accommodate my moto'x boot, i found if you don't get the ajustment just right it makes the gear shift a bit rough or a touch hit and miss
Just hope the Touratech lever solves all at least the Touratech one isn't banana shaped like the Wunderlich lever
I have a spare one of these Touratech adjustable levers if it is of use to you. It is for 1150 only regardless of the Touratech website. It came as a set with lower pegs and I can't be arsed going through the returns procedure at Touratech
I was going to post it in the Keith's Fund forum and ask a £10.00 donation but if it is of use I'll post it to you and you can donate £10 wherever you like.
