What does it cost to retrofit the Gear Assist to the GS? I rode a S1000R today and was impressed with the gear assist although the sales guy said it was smoother on 4's than lumpy boxer twins. Good fun in a gizmo kinda way. Nice to have not need to have.....
I paid £370 fitted. Until you try one, you can't imagine how much it will change your bike.
Fixed it for youUntil you try one, you can't imagine how much it will make people following you roar with laughter at the pure music when fitted to a bike with a full Akra system.

I can understand a quick shifter for racing but is it really necessary for everyday use? Mind you, is Hill assist really any use? oh, I will go back to my rod whipping.....

Nutty’s recently fitted quick shifter was the talk of the recent wales trip. I’d be extremely surprised if all of the other 3 x WC owners on the trip are not seriously considering fitting one.
