Gearbox and final drive oils - how often to change on 1100GS?

What oils you recommend?

I've got 1100GS with 28K kilometres on the clock. Not even thinking about letting the BMW do the maintenance - a way too costy for me. I mostly did all the work my own on my previous bikes. But i haven't got any detailed manual for my freshly bought R1100GS - anyone knows what are the intervals for such maintenance?

i change my final drive oil every engine oil change - such a small amount, and it does a lot of work -

in fact gearbox and final drive oil adds up to such a small amount, why ask, change it whenever your happy

I also change the oil on the G/box and bevel box every time I do the engine.

The cost is really quite small in the overall monies spent on your bike, if you think about it.

I tend to change Gearbox & Final drive oils at 12k - Engine at 6k.
