Since it's a dry clutch

With engine stopped, put bike into gear, pull in clutch and try pushing the bike.
If it pushes easily, it is not the clutch. If it does not, it may be oil on the clutch lining, which also usually makes the clutch slip at peak torque, circa 5000 rpm.
Good place to start.
Myke

If it's sudden, I'd initially check slave cylinder. If it has been gradual, then it could easily be badly lubricated gear linkage...

Thanks lads will have a look at it when I get a chance but no sign of clutch slip when riding hard

My first guess would be dirt on the gear selector at the foot peg plate, the pivot gets gunged up and causes this sporadic gear changing issue, make sure if you push lever up or down with your hand it springs freely back to the original position

Cheers Mark out your way on Saturday after work to late I guess.
