Yup, punters would definitely confuse the IoM TT and an event held in a Belgian field.
I can easily imagine why they didn’t threaten Audi’s use of the TT initials.
Well that's fabulous. We can establish comms closer to the date of the event, but it would be great for the travelling GSers to say hi.

I fancy camping in the town as well, but don't fancy the hours walk each way. Will anyone be using a car from camp site to racing, or is there a shuttle? Hopeful I know, but...

Not sure, in fact I don’t know how many Konigs were built. Newcombe was certainly central to their design and build.
Seems it’s a trade off between camping at the circuit or in town.

For an amateur event, there is nothing wrong with the campsite at the circuit, per-se; several hundred stay there. The trade off for its proximity to the action on the track, is that the track is a couple of miles or so from the town.
has anyone managed to book at the town campsite? The weblink just seems to be a static page. I sent an email last night and not heard back yet, mind you, municipal campsites with gmail email are likely less monitored

When do you plan on arriving at the campsite in town?
If motorbiking up to the circuit from Gedinne town, don’t forget that the roads will be shut at some point. This is the circuit:
I don’t know what times they close / open the roads. I guess you’ll maybe have to roughly follow the red line and come into the circuit via the field entrance to the circuit campsite, perhaps:
As I’ll have my camper van / bicycle, I plan to pitch-up at the circuit early and camp there. Let’s liaise over meeting up etc.

We disembark the ferry in Dieppe early on the Friday, so likely arrive at the camp site around lunch time.

I'm arriving Thursday evening at the campsite
I’ve just noticed that the ‘coat hanger’ shape of the circuit, is reminiscent of the old Silverstone, before they emasculated it. Gedinne is a bit less flat though.
