Get your feet down?

Anyone wear Ariat boots for extra hieght? i,ve heard that these boots give you a bit more length to help you get your feet down, or does anyone have any othe makes please?

Unless my memory fails me, Ariat mainly make horse riding boots, apart from this lot which are hardly the thing for riding a GS.....

There is a Daytona boot with a built up insole which you might like to look at if you've already gone down the low seat route.

+1 I have the lifted Daytonas too - think they max out the size they offer the lifts against to Size 8 Adult - guess they assume short people have small feet.

Ex-Para boots from the local army surplus store. They have a nice thick leather sole. EVery little helps.

It the Daytona M-Stars you want to look at... but they only come in a limited range of sizes...

However Daytona and Sidi (I discovered later) will both make you a boot to pretty much any specification you have. Just be careful what you ask for as they can be very literal in their interpritation of your requirements...

Try GLF Accessories, I got mine from them a couple of years back, nice bunch and good service.

Being a short arse on a GSA, I had my local boot mender put some thicker soles on my BMW boots. Works a treat.

If your mates are like mine though - be prepaired for some major piss taking.

I have the Daytona M star boots, they are an excellent boot, in 2 years they have never leaked, reccomended

think I will try the Altbergs next though
