Removal instructions
Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs. Check for 'Internet Optimizer' or 'Active Alert'.
Downloaded Programs File (IE tools, internet options, temporary internet files settings button, view objects) - delete 'Media Manager'.
Possible files (find and rename) - iopti130.dll, nem207.dll, wsem210.dll, wsem214.dll, wsem21*.dll (* is variable), ioptixxx.dll, nemxxx.dll, wsemxxx.dll

You may want to download the free utilities that stop this sort of thing being installed on your machine:
dont know whay its there as ive never downloaded anything but im struggling to get rid of it still even after ive tried above ? , , , , , , , ???
Its giving me pop up after pop up, even with the normal blockers in use . . . ???
i would recommend trying the above while being disconnected from the internet, or depending on the operating system try the fixes in safe mode (prob better)- failing that, - which version and service pack of windows are you using ? Is your computer slow from starting windows or just when you connect to the internet ?
but more importantly is your data backed up ??? best to make a backup (does not matter how long it takes) before we continue
