Hey Pete,
I fitted the winglets and rode 450km. this weekend. I had some
mixed feelings but it's not really fair i guess because there was
horrendous turbulence in the air with a lot of rain and
windstrokes. Right now i have the lower screen in middle position
on the BMW setting, the tobs on lowest position and the upper
screen in the middle.
I will go experimenting with the position you are using now: lower
screen in lowest BMW setting, even lower than by using the tobs
and than try to find the best position for the upper screen by
stopping many times on the highway (releasing it in full drive seems
like a stupid idea

). I'm convinced that the results this
weekend are not really comparable to a "normal" drive so i keep
my hopes up it will be good eventually. It's normal that you have
to look for the best position; i had the same with my previous bike,
a Suzuki V-Strom DL1000.
One odd thing: the screen is not symmetrical here; the space between
the end of the screen and the winglets is not the same at both sides....
