I used to have this bike, and sold it back to Coopers.

I know its a long shot, but if anyone knows of its whereabouts, I have some paperwork for the owner.

PM me for information.

Hi Hugh

I do indeed know (or until yesterday lol) of its whereabouts, I bought it from Coopers last year.

Cheers

Hello, I can't send you a message as you are new to this fine forum. Did you buy it from Tunbridge or Sunderland?
I can send the stuff to them, if you have a named contact, and they can send it to you, or we can wait a day or two until you have sufficient standing to be grown up enough to correspond using the new fangled system electronic messaging system.

Hi

Actually, it will be ok unless its important paperwork in which case you could send it to me and I can drop it off to the folk I sold it to - would you believe, I sold the bike yesterday so I can concentrate on my GS - I wasn't doing justice to 2 bikes. Bought it from Tonbridge in Jan '15.

You're right, very new here, I'll look forward to me elevated status!!

Ok, when you get sufficient posts (we can just reply a few times here) please PM me their details or I can PM you mine and you can pass my details on to them.

OK cheers, will do that. Do you know, off the top of your head, how many posts I need to make before I'm elected into the higher echelons?

Love the latest version, it's a lovely smooth bike, for the benefit of the tape, it's not a patch on a GS (have to say that, or it's another hot crumpet from behind from those tossers)

Is the bike currently languishing in Coleshill by any chance?

Crikey you're on the ball!! Just taken a look after your tip-off and it looks like the one, yes. I sold it in Chester to a dealer there, gave me a better price than good old BMW, surprise surprise.. I got as far as sitting on the new version but felt it was a tad smaller than the previous one. And oi! I've got a GS lol :o)

Just chatted to them. I found the plastic key so am posting it to them, apparently bike has been sold already.

If I had a bigger garage I'd also have a GS to go with the RT, but as I'm an old softie at heart, and not worthy of full tosser status, I'll just stil with the RT and all its lovely refinements.

:-)

Thank you that's very kind and saves me a job. I'd wanted an RT for a while and picked yours up in Jan last year, took it for a tour but for some reason kept getting pains across the shoulders after riding it for a while. It was a gorgeous bike though, both when I bought it and when I sold it (didn't take them long to sell it)! Back to the GS with its tiny screen now lol.
