Got mine on Wednesday - what do I make first.................

There's look slightly bigger, but the handguards can be moved outwards, slightly.

so, guys, what is it to be then ffs :D

I`ve spent all afternoon drawing up something which `should sell like hot cakes` (not my words) but if we are cooling off on the "There's look slightly bigger, but the handguards can be moved outwards, slightly" then I need to stop because I was looking to commit manufacturing tmoz for 100 sets............ :blast

Your looking at a picture and tbh it can be deceiving, I'd suggest you go and undo your hand-guard bolt and just pull the hand-guard out slightly to replicate the new bar ends, I'm sure you will see all is well.

The evotech ones look shite, they cannot be bothered to machine something up that looks factory, so opt for the default option! I expected better from em tbh, being as small as they look I'd be surprised if they weigh the necessary weight to move the vibes .

I agree, I think they will look ok with the ends pulled out by 10mm (won`t even be noticed) - mine will look `stock` but will be larger and heavier to dull down the vibes. Hopefully.............

You're probably right Dave.

Stick with the original plan then, of having them hidden inside the handguards.:thumb

How much will yours weigh?

Until I have them made and weighed I don't know but as soon as I do I will post it along with the weight of the standard ones - whatever the increase in sure it will help. The key is getting the balance between minimal change and diffident extra weight

The HMVP ones weigh 292 grams, and the Evotech weigh 368 grams, so somewhere in the middle would be perfect.

Well let's see nuts - do you know what the weight is for the standard ones? I can't be arsed to go into the garage and weigh one coz I'm 'with wine'

Bar end weights

Mark,
If it helps I have the s/s bar ends fitted from Horning they are 178g each compared to 65g for original, no vibration now.

Evotech weigh as much as that looking at the size Im surprised, just hope you don't move the buzz from the bars to your bollox, however this mod is very positive and goes to show BMW are fooking useless, they no about the issue and fail to rectify it.

Can`t figure out why the evotech weigh sooo much more?

bar end update

First offs for photo`s weighing and testing will hopefully be done tonight and posted on the forum.

The manufacture time including powder coating is approx 10 working days so I need confirmed numbers (time to put ya money where ya mouth is :D) as soon as the images have been posted. The longer this takes the longer it is before I press the button so, if these are needed ASAP (as I am told they are) then guys I need to have confirmed numbers.

They will also be competitively priced so please don`t think you will commit to anything that may cost you more than a fair competitive price - I just haven`t had chance to work out a price yet but to all those who know me you know that I`m never unfair on pricing and very biased to us, the lads!

I've put a link to your website on the other forum, so as soon as they appear on there, you should see the orders come through.:thumb

Good work, Mark. :thumb

Just needs a flusher fitting bolt that doesn't protrude from the hand guards as much, and jobs a goodun! :hide:D

and btw

And btw, the Frankenstien Side Stand extender (I designed on the loo) actually works a treat and sits my bike up just right!

and as an aside you can also see the belly pan fitted with the stand being used.

Because BMW is run by accountants.

Come on don't be shy how much for a pair of bar ends !

Dunno mate, seriously, I haven`t had chance to take a breath. To enable me to go from `fekk me hooters get this done` to `idea to tangible solution in 24hrs` some things gotta give. But I promise you, because of all the support, they will be very fairly priced fella. Just because I`m awesome at shit like this :D doesn`t mean that I have to rip anyone off :D
