At last, picked up my new GSA to-day, from South London Motorcycles, a week earlier than originally estimated.
The whole process from negotiating to a sale and then the accessories have been painless for me, as the salesman ( Tony), is a jolly good chap., who kept me upto date on all events.
All my questions about the bike some technical a lot of them not so technical have been answered in a clear and responsive manner.
Well for the bike, what a ride, what a ride, absolutely love it. Still trying to get my head around the
Indicator cancel button though, ( so use to Yamaha’s).
Also thanks to this forum for answering some of my initial questions, that has prompted me to go for a GSA.

Lets have some fun !

I got the stealth mode one ( grey and mag).
I orignally wanted the preimium package and top box with the GSA , and think I got a pretty good deal got £400..ish off ... I think.

But then after a further visit to SLM ( probably due to their bacon rolls and nice coffee) I went on to order the panniers and battery charger, and zumo gps + fitted, do not think I got a massive discount, but that does not matter to much to me, because of the ( biking) relationship I felt with the salesman and the actual whole outfit, I felt I could do business with them and not be ripped off, when it comes to servicing / doing work on my bike in the future, to me that is important.

O'h yes this week-end will be fun.

enjoy

have a blast with the new wheels buddy, popped in to SLM gonna use them insted of cannons, they are a friendly bunch, top guys....

..oh well I'm another one who picked up a GSA (red) from SLM yesterday from Tony. Nice chap and pretty painless - 3rd GS and hope this one gives as much pleasure as the previous ones - but first time on the Adventure! An ex demonstrator with everything on it so half of you here have probably had a go on it at some stage..lol...Difficult to get off as the presence and poise is something I've never experienced before. Hope my KTM jacket falls apart soon...!

Riding off for the first time on a brand new GSA is a great feeling that I still remember well.

Hope you have as much fun with yours as I have with mine:beerjug:

Agree with all, chaps at SLM are top, now on my Sixth GS having written last one off. First 2 came from Vines great in sales department, workshop well enough said. SLM have been great sales and after sales excellent.

Coffee is good too!!!

Nice !!

Just like mine in fact (although I didn't get the boxes or GPS) that I picked up from Coopers last Friday - just one question - where can I find a cooler cover like yours ?

Hope this works....

Don't worry, at least you know if your ears fit through the gap then so will your panniers:D:D

Nice bike btw, enjoy:thumb2
