Lunchtime arrived, so had a browse in the Zumo XT’s restaurant menu and found this place just around the corner from Arette-Pierre-Saint-Martin in Isaba:

Ahh, one of the 4 Spanish words I know - bocadillo

The other 3 are - pollo, cerveza, rioja

Hijo de puta (pronounced he-ho de puter) ish.....useful to mention to the plod if you get pulled...

A stop for ice cream & a carbonated soft beverage:

This was the final night that Roberto would be with us as he was heading home on the Tuesday morning, so we decided to finish off the Dead Man’s Fingers rum I brought, and mixed it with a couple of Capri Sun Tropical’s from the vending machine .

Surprised you didn’t comment on the mayonnaise on the lamb steak. You’re losing your touch. :D

Apart from the total lack of artistry in application, i was thinking never to invite you to dinner ;)

Mayonnaise!! and on chips! how could you, hang your head in shame :(

Mayonnaise on chips is fine, as is ketchup. Millions of people all over the world agree. ;)

Odd place to find Grimbergen being served........

Thought the same.
The Eguzki beer has been noted though for October trip

Bounce, were the oversize bicycles still at the top of the Aubisque ?

As stated , not the Gastro extravaganza I was expecting on your trip but keep the photos coming

Enjoy
