Green lane riders

There are quite a few trails that'll be fine for a GS off road novice - when it gets a bit drier (I'm assuming you have road tyres) I'll be more than happy to show you some. If you're up for it remind me when the weather gets a bit drier :)

Andres

Can I come? I loved it last time. Andres' routes are great fun and dead easy apart from a cheeky rutted one.

You're brave on a shiny new bike

Rather you than me:augie

Lol. I've promised myself I'm not going to be precious with her.

I even took her out in the rain on Saturday.;)

Edit: And by fook could I tell I wasn't on the RT! I couldn't have got more soaked if I'd taken a wander through the shower in all my bike gear. :(

You can always tell a GS Rider, they're always wet and muddy

Seriously I would leave the GSA until summer when the Trails are bone dry

A few years ago, I took some out and a new guy came (AndyE) out on a brand new 12GSA, assuming it could go anywhere with TKC's in Jan

First lane (very easy, stoned track) he dropped it 3-4 times, 2nd lane he dropped it a similar number of times and went home

None of the rest of us fell off at all, on sub 600cc bikes

He bought a BMW G450X and now realises the sensibility of a small and lighter trailbike

GSA in summer, fine on easy trails
