GS ADV OIL LIGHT GONE OUT

I have noticed that i have no oil light on the dash before i start the bike, have checked the bulb by changing with another and thats ok. How can i check the oil switch ??

Try disconnecting the wire from the switch & earthing it the engine or battery negative?

Can't remember if there's one or two wires to the switch?
