I had 2 seats come with the bike Lower and standard but i just use the standard seat which i have on the low setting using the adjuster bars (or whatever they are called ?)

I tend to find that the seat throws me forward slightly so whilst faffing about i put the front bar on high and the rear bar on low, ive tried it before but the seat would not click in but this time it did.

The seat seems much more comfortable but it does leave a small gap between seat and tank because of the altered angle.

Does anyone think this is likely to cause any problems due to water-ingress etc ?

Thanks

T's a bike so unless it "never sees rain" everything gets wet - sooner or later. If you want to improve the looks a rubber profile from these people should sort it out.

I use a Kahedo (Touratech) standard height seat which suits my leg reach to the floor and is MUCH more comfortable that the GS seat. The TT GSA height is better padded so even more comfortable but just a touch too tall for me. The OEM GSA seat was plain awful. The OEM GS seat has a lump at the back which clouted my coccyx.

I never got along with the tilted seat thing (any of them). But I also never got along with the OEM handlebars. The grips sweep back too much for me making my thumb joints really ache. Rental McGrath bend bars with less sweep with Rox anti-vibe risers solved the thumb pain and leaning me forwards a bit more also solved the tilted seat issue. Less vibration, comfy thumbs and backside what's not to like. :)
