No. 1 fuse has started blowing, taking out the ignition (batt and neutral lights) according to Haynes drawing its brake light switch and rigged into taillight. Stripped out taillight but still blowing. Any ideas ?
of the 3 in the tail light all go to earth and all go to the fuse
according to the drawing 1 is earth 2 is from brake switch 3 is from fuse so i am confused
unless the earth is switched
don't think i am going to make the mot appointment tomorrow
The warning lights look to me to be supplied by power from fuse 1, and then if there's a fault it's switched to make a circuit and light the warning / info up.
Does the fuse blow if only one brake switch is made or before you activate the brake?
