GSA...... How much??

.........or for £12,600 plus £800 for side cases you get what should be a very good bike without all the tat ;)

BMW may want you to buy "fully loaded bikes" but that does not mean that you have to :augie

No fun in that, no gadgets to entertain you whilst riding:D

On the road charges

It wasn't made up strangely, just thought I'd save time itemising

Still completely wrong whether you made it up or not :blast

I can only give the information provided to me by Park Lane, and below Bahnstormer.

If you can explain they are doing it wrong I'll be more than happy to save £300:bounce1

Been quoted for a 2014 GsaTe inc three aluminium boxes +alarm +17lts fuel on the road price £16694.01

AAh

All is clear, and I thought I was going to have a saving

The OTR price from both dealers is less the £355 and then doubled further on.

Although the list price from the dealers is different to the web site at £12,495.84. A £250.01 difference.

I can only assume that the dealers itemise different to BMW

The original owner of my 59 plate GSA premium + Dynamic + three boxes paid £16895 on the road so four years on the new one is cheaper, bargain.

That seems inordinately - high? Have you seen the original invoice?

IIRC when I was quoted a fully spec'd GSA in 2009 it was £13,495 OTR. I might still have it somewhere. That was minus panniers and a topbox but even so yours seems expensive. I bought a year old (2K mile) fully spec'd one for £9,900 in the end :thumb

Yes I have the original invoice, I bought it one year old for £10000 with 3000 miles on the clock

Feck me that makes £13000 for my fully loaded 90th Anniversary GSA look cheap.

Yes I guess the older hex heads are starting to look a little cheap compared to the latest quality offerings from BMW :D:D:D

......at least my Toilet GS comes with stainless fastners as standard - whats on yours :augie

Joking aside I am impressed with the quality of finish on the latest GS's IMO they have improved since my last 2011 hexhead :)

Cheap before you add on your finance/PCP costs - bloody expensive once taken into account :augie

You cant take those costs into account though. Its not everyone who has that amount of money going spare to spend in one hit. I don't for sure, but i do have the final balloon payment tucked away. In the end its costing me less than the price of 4 packets of fags a week, for what, for me is probably my one great pleasure so in the end its cheap for me.:thumb
