GSA...... How much??

You cant take those costs into account though. Its not everyone who has that amount of money going spare to spend in one hit. I don't for sure, but i do have the final balloon payment tucked away. In the end its costing me less than the price of 4 packets of fags a week, for what, for me is probably my one great pleasure so in the end its cheap for me.:thumb

So, are you going to come clean on the figures then....:D

Actually, forget that. If you and BMW are both extremely happy with the deal then that's all that matters

Ok here ya go for all those that are interested in my financial affairs

My PCP details are are as follows

Part exchange allowance against my old GS.......£4431
First monthly payment...................................£189.55
35x monthly payments of £89.55.....................£3134.25
Cash paid as part of deposit...........................£764.61
Final payment (if i keep the bike).....................£6450.15
Grand total..................................................£14969.56
Original cost of bike (with £1850 of free goodies)£13000 OTR
PCP Costs....................................................£1969.56 Over three years (I will be keeping the bike BTW)
So the cost too me per week with a PCP is...£12.62. Bet there are peeps on here that spend that on their feckin lunch everyday.:D

Now lets hear it from all those that say "you should never buy what you cant afford" never buy on tick etc etc.
Well my attitude is......fuck you its my money !! :D:augie:rob

Now does anyone want to know how many times a week i take a dump ??:blast

As I've previously said, if you're happy with it that's all that matters to you. But your comment that you've got a 3 year old GSA for £6K is a little on the inaccurate side don't you think?

To be fair- that price is only applicable if you personally haven't taken the depreciation hit - to get to that figure.

But - your calculations on what that new bike has cost you - doesn't appear too bad? If you had taken out a loan from the bank - would you have paid less? I've not taken a bank loan for a long time, so don't know what personal loans run at these days.

I dont know Al I didnt ask the bank it was easier too just let dealer sort it. I reckon what with the free gear etc when the three years are up my bike with the low mileage that will be on it (I dont do big miles usually) will be worth a lot more than the balloon payment so that will take the cost even further down. Anyway im happy with the arrangement as is and I get the pleasure of the well sorted out bike and im not a beta tester, not like some :-)
