Taking rear footpeg hangers off the GSA and BMW in their infinite wisdom haven't powder coated where the hanger bolts in to subframe!!

Anyone know the grey colour code for the subframe (is a GSA Trophy - not sure if all models same colour).

Rear subframe is grey (believe it is on all models). Putting bolts back in holes but still an approx 2cm x 2cm gap in grey powder coat and just plain shiny metal! Is same where pannier rack is bolted to the subframe - annoying!

Take a look on rs paint supplies.

Just for information purposes, you don't bolt parts on to a painted surface on critical components. You need two cleanly machined surfaces to mate. This is infinite wisdom.

Sorry, you're referring to the 1300 GSA. It's grey. :ROFLMAO:

Yeh - it's grey - but it's not normal paint is it.

Some kind of rough finish to it - like sandpaper.

Looks like a powder coat - so agreed wouldn't want to bolt anything direct to it but annoying though that just bare metal. Had a similar thing with the M1000R - you could buy black covers for that though. Will try and make some up see what they look like.
