Naw it isnae!

Strangely enough the GSA is an easier bike to handle at low speed- even with a full tank:nenau

And I'm not posting the photo- Fruitcake has informed me of the fate that awaits if I do....

Note to self- find a better hiding place for the bike keys.

Fruitcake you haven't dropped it already have you? ( I dropped mine last week for the first time, luckily it was on a nice grassy campsite so no damage done but it was a real struggle to pick up fully laden. I reckon it'd be impossible to pick up a fully laden GS1150/1200 on your own).
How long do you have to work for Wully?

Fruitcake has not dropped her new bike!

I recon if ( more accurately, WHEN) I drop the big fella I will be able to pick it up OK- as long as it isn't loaded with camping kit.

I've had plenty practice with the 1150 and 1200:augie

Props to you then Wully, I really struggled to pick my little tottie bike back up (it did have a lot of extra weight strapped on it tho'). I dropped it at a standstill while looking for the best spot to pitch my tent on a campsite. Completely caught me by surprise, one minute I'm sitting there no problem, next I'm rolling about on the deck and Katie's on her side! Unfortunately no one was there to see it, I think it would have had quite high comedy value:o!

We got plenty of practice picking up bikes on the off-road course and the 1200 was much easier than the (old) 650. Mainly because the engine stops it from tipping over as far as the 650. The 650 would often dig the bars into the soft ground making it even harder to get back up again.

Also when you do drop a bike there is usually some adrenaline around to help with the lift.:thumb

Enjoy the new bikes!:):)

Nope haven't dropped it - although had a good go - stalled it twice on the way home from the dealer - doh

The photo is one of my bike after i had just sat on it in the shop having got there in the rain.

Oh and wully- found yer bike keys about 10 mins after you went back to work so remember to be nice to me or the bikie will be going fur a wee spin roon the garden :thumb:eek:

nice bike FC, have ya named it yet:cool
nope - bit nervous about naming it - last brand new red shiney vehicle I bought and gave a name to gave up its wee life to save mine after i'd only had it 10 weeks. It was a shiny red focus called whizzy whizz. The car before that was known as the gocart - a polo from the auction - paid £300 for it and yes - there was a hole in the middle - where the head gasket should've been :P:augie:blast - did me a year tho and got £300 trade in :thumb2

anyway - you can guess what I put the dosh from the insurance claim towards:bounce1;) ;) :thumb

Now this sounds intriguing...It's not a Mr and Mrs nudie pose with the bikes, as I'm still coming over Den and his naked pic in the snow..:D

Fixed.

Did I just do that. Shame on me. I ought to be spanked for even thinking such a thing.

Nice wee bike Fruity ...........for gurls !!

Wasn't intending being cheeky about your riding ability FC, was trying to think of alternative embarassing things that the photo could be of (would never have guessed the real one).
My wife always says "what's yours is mine and what's mine's my own" so on that basis I think you should take Wully's bike for a good thrap round yer local forest tracks. I'm sure he won't mind now your his wife!:augie:D

If I know WOMEN:augie Dropping the bike would be the least of the worries

Could it be to do with:confused:
