I recognise that few of you on here may wish to put Muffs on your GS however, has anyone done so, particularly with reference to the indicators being on the handlebars vs on the side of the bike?

I notice that very few companies make the front of the Muff transparent & from what I can see from the Webb site pictures it appears as though it will potentially reduce the view of the indicator.

My reason for asking; I will purchase a GS1300 at some point, which I will use all year around & typically put Muffs on the bike from Nov through to March.
Therefore need to consider if I’m to purchase a GS with indicators on the handle bars or not.

Hope you can assist.

These days heated gloves are really good. I had bars muffs on my old 1200 and have tried both battery and wired heated gloves and much prefer the wired as they last longer and get way hotter.

If you are commuting or doing something where you're getting on and off a lot, the muffs will be the way to go but assuming you probably are not doing that on a 1300

Macna are worth a look
