Spokes laced up loose,
Into the jig for initial tightening

Onto wheel jig to check runout is ok,
Then start torquing up the spokes to final setting.

For a bit of info,
These wheels were in pretty good condition to start with,
As with all x spokes they took a bit of effort to strip.
This is probably the main reason most wheel companies aren’t interested in doing the rebuilding on them.
Demounting tyres,
Bolt cropping spokes,
Removing the spokes and nipples,then prepping the rims for polishing took @2 hours per wheel.
One of the worst wheels I’ve done took 4 hours to remove the spokes and nipples,so a days work just to strip the pair.
Demount tyres,dismantle wheel/spokes,prep for polish/ hubs for blast clean 2hrs per .
Machine polish rim.2hrs
Media blast,then vapour blast hub 1 hr.
Build and true wheel,mount tyre 2hrs.
On top ,spoke set @£100 per
Wheel bearings / valve stems/ tyres.

Obviously you could strip the wheels yourself.
Currently have a customer who managed to crack/ spilt the casting trying to remove one of the nipples from his rear hub.
I think he’s realised how hard to acquire these wheels are.

Not forgetting the hours of work to build and refine the jig to assemble the wheels.
