As per title. No noise here and I haven't yet seen one on the road. Have BMW shot themselves in the foot with the positioning of the model in the UK?

One of these, occasionally seen in showrooms, but I've never seen one on the road yet as the GS rules.
as this is a specific model sub-forum for the R1300R, I made something of a leap in faith ...
I think the poster was asking which foot BMW had shot themselves in......
