Just wondered if these are any good, is anyone currently using them with any success. They seem very good value for money and very powerful,

Not sure what this value judgement is based on? I have a pair on these on my GS and another pair on my Honda. They are very well made for the price- no rust after two winters. Very bright - to the extent that when I first put them on the Honda and hadn't adjusted them properly a taxi driver I was following stopped at a junction and got out of his car to complain about them. Definitely recommended for creating a triangle of light with your headlight which is, I have read, the best way to be seen by others.

There are counterfeit ones out there and you've heard it before...If it looks too good to be true. ....
Buy from a reputable seller every time.

Thanks for the info, do you find they can be left on all the time when adjusted properly? I don't want to annoy others on the road I want them mainly to be seen better but I also ride at night a bit after night shifts.
I figure they are worth a punt at that price, I have a super cheap ebay LED torch that cost me a fiver that I use every night shift at work for several hours which is way better than the £50 torch it replaced so I'm open to finding out if cheap means rubbish or not.
I'm sure they are made in China which is no bad thing these days, so is the I pad I am typing on!

I have them wired into the dipped beam on both bikes and, adjusted properly, are on all the time the lights are on (all the time on the Honda). As you say at that price cheap enough to replace several times over although I have not needed to in two years - and I am sure they all come out of the same factories in China before they are badged up and overcharged for by some sellers.

Put a pair on my old 1100 about a year ago - wired to a separate switch. No complaints at all and they work very well. Going through their second winter and still rust free.

Just found these too, any thoughts? They look like they would be far less of a spotlight and more of a spread.

I have those on eBay. They are crap. Spent an hour with them and removed right away. You probably are mistaken with the uber pricey Touratech stuff. The eBay spots make a tiny round spot that doesn't really help.

Then I bought those for not much more and they work much better.

Let's just assume I know WTF I am talking about and assume you may not know what I have fitted to my bike and how they work?

Let's assume you're a dick who doesn't like to be contradicted. Is that right for you? The garbage that is mentioned earlier in the thread is just that, garbage. And I have no clue what you have on your bike and don't really care, as it is not the subject. Maybe you have low standards. I don't know.

If you look on this forum, several members have bought those exact same POS. And the comments are all the same. Crap. Not to mention the three lousy patterns that change when switching on and off. Low light. Stronger light. Strobe. WTF?

There's a big difference between being blinded by low quality lights, and a good device that properly spreads ahead.

These HIDs were absolutely stunning and you could drive in the forest until early hours. Plenty of light ahead.

Then fitted the eBay crap mentionned earlier to save weight. Not a good idea. Reinstalled the HIDs. Then fitted the round 9 leds spots. Much better. They can be had in spot or flood configuration. Get the Spot.

There is a big difference I agree it's very much the same as assuming that the performance of the lights you fitted are the same as grims ,I can only speak about his lights which are impressive just chill out a bit your coming across as one of those people who thinks "there's a big difference " in there knowledge to others

Did you make the light bar? Or is it a branded item? Looks quite smart

Well I bit the bullet and bought a set, I don't think you can go far wrong for the money. Looking forward to fitting them and giving them a go, I've even found a fix for the three mode setup but I doubt I'll need it as I'll rig them up to a bar mounted switch.
I'll add info and pics when I get them fitted. Thank you all for the input.

FYI I also have the same HID spotlights as you show in your photos, plus a set of Rigid Industries Duallys; in addition to HID dip and main beam bulbs on my GS. I don't see what help you are offering to the OP or this thread with your comments? I gave the OP a response based on my valid experience, if you can't respect that and are so limited in vocabulary as to think offering 'crap, crap, crap' is a helpful judgement, then I suggest there is only one dick here.
