Hats off to NOG...

Re Coz's comment "I ended up buying my 1200GS from Wollaston's after the sales guy @ NOG virtually ignored me after my test ride" - Coz, did you deal with Phil the sales manager (he sits on the right as you walk in) or the miserable bloke who sits on the left? If it was him I can well believe it as he initially ignored me as well and was abrupt and aggressive. I was almost out the door when I bumped into Phil and he turned things round - what a difference! :clap

The good news is that he left NOG at the end of August, and NOG had their busiest month of the year in September with just Phil there. Apparently there is a new salesman starting soon to help Phil so things should be back to normal.

New salesman definitely starting soon.............. :D

Friendly service guaranteed. :thumb

NOG are my local workshop, and I've always been really pleased with what they've done. Not only did they agree to host a meeting of my IAM group, show everyone round the workshops and the showroom and provide more free coffee and buns than we could shift, they've helped me out on many occasions. They're friendly as well, and I've always had superb service there.

Worth calling in just for a chat with Zu - what a gent. :thumb

Maybe I should give NOG a nod the next time my bike needs some attention.

I believe it was Phil I dealt with. I will admit however that he wasn't best pleased with me at the time :o

I'd taken a 650 out before the 1200 and I'm certain noone mentioned a one hour limit on the test rides (none were imposed at Wollastons). Hence, upon my return there was someone waiting to hop on the bike. (If it was you, sorry again.)
