The hazard light indicator on the left handlebar never seems to go out when the bike is on. Then it only goes out after a few minutes when you turn the bike off. While you are riding it is on all the time. I couldn't find this anywhere in the maual. Dose averyone elses do the same? Normal??

Thanks !

I guess BMW was expecting a lot of trouble on the GS so the warning lights have to be readily locatable. . . . ;)

True, the Adventure model comes out next week. There are no changes but they've realised that every day is a little adventure waiting to see what goes wrong.;)

the hazzards are also activated by pressing L and R indicators at the same time - cancel with red button...

The hazard warning light switch is illuminated as long as the CAN bus is active. This is from ignition switch on until the system switches off, usually 15 mins after the ignition is switched off. This will tell you when the accessory socket is active. A good idea really.
