Hazard warning lights

That's a fair point, but I had just done a full switch and lights check, with everything working as it should, and the last thing I checked was the hazards.

maybe the question to ask is does anyone elses hazards stay on if ignition cycled off and on without cancelling the hazards first? if the answer is yes then I suspect your cancel switch, if another bike resets to no indicators then you have deeper trouble with a deeper fault somewhere keeping both hazards on (and I doubt both your indicator switches have faults at the same time)

I am assuming you don't have an alarm or other 'mod's' that may have wired into the indicators or looms nearby?

the switches are easy to get apart, or were on my 2006

I cannot answer the question above as I have moved the old girl on and am currently sans GS

Latest update. Changed the r/h combination switch, as advised by BMW Southport and the problem remains. Only thing left now is to get bike picked up by BMW and have the ECU looked at on the diagnostic machine! Great, !
