Headlight not working

Hi all hope everyone is well, I have a 2006 1200gs and yesterday headlight bulb blew, so I replaced it but it’s still not working, as I turn it on the bulb weakly lights up but doesn’t come on, I’ve checked the bulb in the car and it’s fine..any ideas? I only bought a cheap one but that shouldn’t matter should it?

Switch it on but DON'T start it. Do this twice and 3rd time it should be ok
