Hi, I have been having problems with my left heated grip not working, I have checked he internal cable and it seems to be in one peice, any advice, tips greatly appreciated.

Welcome ArmadilloRacer, erm take it back to your local beemer outfit & complain. :rob

Remember the squeaky cog gets the oil first!! :augie However the temperature of my grips are different but that could be my circulation.

I've got a similar issue (I think), the left one seems not to work, not a major problem though, will let the guys look at it when they service it in a months time.

In my experience, throttle side grip is always hotter because it is insulated from the handlebars by the throttle tube.

My left one died a few months ago, replaced under warranty. One min it was working, then the next min my left hand was 10 degrees cooler than the right. They couldn’t tell me what the actual problem was. Take it back to the shop, there should be do issues replacing under the warranty.

Like GS Biker, my LHH grip died after around 7k, BMW replaced it under warranty without a second thought (unlike my rusty front disc and spokes - which they're taking a lot longer to make a warranty decision about...)

I agree, plus you tend to take your left hand off the grip a lot more for gear changes. Amazing how quickly your hand loses heat from the grip when you do this - especially if it's winter and your clutch lever is sucking warmth from your hands!
