I have bought new plugs for the 1150 but I cant find a spanner that will fit into the head or the barrel holes to remove the plugs?

Is there a special tool as the standard plug spanners seem to fat and I have bought a box spanner as well but still cant get the spanner near the bloody plug.

Help!:thumb

if anyone is going to Lower Lode this weekend can I borrow one if possible?

Have you checked the toolkit?

There's a tube spanner in that....just whack a screwdriver through it and undo.

Ignore this if you've lost the toolkit :blast

1150GSA SE came with all the extra's aparrt from the bloody tool kit .

I have found a thread about it but no linky to buy one.

I guess there will be someone at Lode who will have one?

Stahlwille make one for BMW's, thin walled to fit down the hole, but I'm suffering from old farts memory as to the catalog number :nenau. Go forth a find.

Good luck

Make one!

Buy a thin plug socket and grind the outside down a bit if you have access to a grinder?

Good quality tools fit! Cheap ones often have to be made thicker to compensate for the crap materials. Compare a Snap On socket ( or any one of several top quality brands)to the same size Supermarket special and you will see what I mean.
