Help needed with centre stand

The pivot bolts on the lc gsa(2018) are made of what looks like a funny material, seems really light weight almost like a nylon in looks, but more like some sort of magnesium alloy possibly.

Iv tried a couple, one of em was made of hardend steel, each spring just laffed at em half the trouble with a spring puller is you cant get the right angle to pull at, plus like i say, the springs are tough as fook, washers are the way

HA HA - Dont you just love costdowns

The MkII Flat bottom stand which replaced the C shaped Mk1 stand has the springs on a tensioning adjustor


You put the stand up, unscrewed the allen bolt to detension the springs, and then removed them .


Refitting was simply the reverse

But go for a cost down and you can delete a 2 brackets and a bolt
