Not sure about the fraternity stuff but been with this site for a long time and noticed the real 'tossers' . Liked the 8 posts a day analysis.

My advice to anyone is don't worry about the search function, manuals or common sense, just ask - a genuine response will likely follow. However there will undoubtably be tirades of abuse from the 'stalkers'.

If people don't like the thread and have nothing constructive to add , especially in the tech section, what's the point of abuse - shit life, poor upbringing, deeply repressed issues, lack of self esteem, who knows

Ps bought cheap stuff from halfords - changed fuel pumps in Poland, removed wheels in Romania - reason was they are the closest shop

You obviously thought it a piss take. We all love the site for its piss taking, that was clear targeted cyber bullying. As mod you clearly don't find it offensive, in fact you seem to encourage abuse, that's fine but as a mod you set the tone so expect newbies to not want to ask questions or subscribe.

Coming after the "worn out brake disc" thread, I can see why Wapping let you have both barrels. Stating that responses must have a link to specific products and justifying it by reason of not wanting to waste your money, you came across like a spoilt brat who wasn't so much asking for help as demanding that others do something for you.

Hit the nail on the head...... This site offers an amazing resource yet, I am not a subsciber yet?

The reason for this is simple, I am pretty self reliant when it comes to arranging routes and tours but it really bugs me the way posters are put down and told to not to be so f$¥king lazy and use the search facility when they ask innocent questions, this is especially true in the touring section

I gladly give advice and rarely ask for it but if I was to be told to research it in a condescending manner, I would completely lose the plot, as I spend hundreds of hours researching my tours and don't expect some smart arse to come back with a reply like that.

Somehow, this forum, or to be precise, some of the members within, manage to be very disparaging at times and that is the only reason why I am not a subscriber yet...... For god sake, it's not because I am tight, I even subscribed to a Motorhome forum and I don't even have a motorhome!

Erm......if you spend hundreds of hours researching your tours, it's highly unlikely that you'll ever warrant a disparaging remark

If you were (for example) to ask for any first hand experiences of Hotel Krautville in Krautvillesteinswigge Germany because you are thinking of booking it for an important anniversary, that's rather different than asking how to get your bike from England to France because there are no bridges on your map


Apart from the response you'll get from Nasty Mr Wappo of course, because as we all know now, he's a ****
