Hero2 tips?

I've just got a GoPro Hero2 motorsports edition camera and I was wondering if anyone had used one on an RT. If so, any tips? I was intending to use the suction mount, but I don't know whether I can bring myself to trust over £250s worth of camera to a suction cup!

Does the GoPro use a 17mm ball mount - if so and if you do have any concerns have a look at http://www.osomount.com/Products/7-oso-space-mount.html

I have one of these and a limpet could not do better! You can easily take off the actual phone clamp and just utilise the suction mount and ball. Tie a bit of string between the camera and the bike so if the sucker gives up you won't lose it.

I used one of these clamp mounts on a recent trip to france. Can clamp it to the luggage mount points for a low down shot when panniers a removed or can also use it on engine bars if fitted. You also need the adaptor as well which is

One major tip is never place the camera where your speedo is visible just in case as this could be used against you if you were to speed.

Thanks Kritou. That looks quite similar to the GoPro suction mount, so that's reassuring!

Thanks GS or Bust. String will most definitely be employed as a tether if I go with the suction mount.

Thanks Medic. That's a very useful clamp and tripod adapter set up. I think that would work well on my crashbars.
