Anyone got Hein Gericke Cruise jacket? Comments.
Or the alternative the HG Tuareg jacket? I know all you guys in Sth Wales are into some kind of unifrom effect with the old Tuareg, but anyone got the new one?
Can't afford the Master IV, anything from BMW or an Aerostitch - so these are the choices: Cruise or Tuareg!

I have the old one, the waterproof Goretex and analine leather one with the trousers and it is wonderfull, it is as it says on the tin, waterproof.

If this is the one your'e refering to its not made any more so if you see one, buy it.

Hey Rev,as stated above the Tuareg is a well made bit of kit that does what it says on the tin,all it lacks is exclusivity-in certain parts of the world anyway
The new Tuareg looks well made but doesn't seem to be selling in the same numbers as the previous model-so if you want exclusivity go for that one.
The Cruise has had great reviews in the biking press,looks equally well made and it's where my money would go if I were replacing my Tuareg

i have an hg cruise suit rev, never had a full textile suit before but am really impressed , iread all the reviews and did me homework and it paid off .. excellant quality warm and fits like a glove with all the adjustment £450 well spent...

Totally waterproof and toasty warm. Ridden during motorway/ A road miles generally 3am through the winter. Sleeve zipper burst twice now though - quick fix with key-ring to replace tab & burst popper repaired under warranty. Armour seems good and the 2 waterproof pockets are so far. Might be geting a bit too warm outside to wear now although the inbuilt vents seem to be able to do a good job of cooling if it just happens to get too much above freezing?
