hid bulb not working

hi lads, my gs has the hid bulbs fitted ( already fitted when i got it ), worked great . Got my bike out the shed yesterday , the dipped bulb is working and when i flash main beam that is working but the main riding bulb has stopped working, just stripped the unit down and looked like a wire had come off the back of the bulb connector, pushed it back on and now when i put ignition on the bulb flashes for a second but again will not come on properly?
even with engine running it wont work

as you sit on the bike its the left hand one , bigger of the two lights

any help appreciated

Change the bulbs between dip and main. If it still doesn't work on dip it's the wiring. If it does, it's the bulb.

cheers mate, im assuming its just a case of unplugging the wires and swapping them over

Normally the dip beam is the main riding beam and you say the main and dip are working??? It is unusual to have HID bulb fitted to main beam as it takes time to strike so it sounds like you only have HID on dip?? If it just flashes and does not come on it could be the igniter or the ballast.

Sorry if I didn't explain very well.
The small "dipped" bulb works
The bigger bulb in the same lamp works as well when you put headlights on or flash

The bulb in the other lamp ( one on the left as you sit on the bike) is the one that won't work , just flashes when ignition turned on then Nowt , ordered couple spare bulbs anyway .

One on the left is the dipped beam, the right one is high beam with a small bulb (parking light) that comes on with dipped beam aswell. When on high beam both main bulbs should be lit (maybe the parking light aswell, not sure).

Should have replied earlier ,

Replaced the bulb with one from motorbike adventures and my lights now work perfect again
