hello tossers,
Just fitted a hid 50 and found it a doddle, fantastic light output!
HOWEVER!!! could anyone be so kind to give me an idea of where the best place to mount the gubbins, ie the transformer and wires. been scratchin the head all night. a pic would be great, cheers in advance,

Which bike you fitting it to?
I've a 650 twin andby all accounts there is somewhere under the false tank especially for it. If you got them from Les Wassell of this parish mail him and he will advise...top bloke by all accounts....

Not fitted any to mine yet but aim to before the winter nights get here
 
I posted some photo's on Les' HID50.com thread.

I used the sticky velcro to mount the ballasts onto the inside of the faring - they can be peeled off if required. Not come loose in 5k miles. Others cable-tie the ballasts to the frame, where you can see the white cable-ties i have used to keep the cable's tidy - some have mounted further back.

thats just what i was after cheers. thought about this way just wanted to see what every one else had tried and tested
