Hardly ever use it on my 1200, takes loads of revs to pull away to avoid stalling - apparently the 1250 is better in this respect?

Had it on my rt. like any other control it has its uses. Like the quick shifter I often forget about it. Very handy in certain suitations. JJH

I use the Hill start.
Never tried to pull away with it engaged though. Just pull the lever in again and go.![]()
